Arrangement #1 Moribana Upright- Using kenzan. Materials are: Plum blossoms , Tulips and Lisianthus
Arrangement #2- Double vases- materials Fasciated willow, philodendron leaves, Lilies and gerbera
Arrangement #3- Japanese Bamboo Basket- Ann queen’s lace, roses and greens
Arrangement #4-White tall vase- scabiosa , fern, gerbera and fothergilla branches
Arrangement #5- Mailing tube vase- Midolino sticks, roses and coral bells

About Helena Arouca

Helena Arouca is senior master in the Art of Ikebana at the Sangetsu School of Ikebana. Arouca has been practicing and teaching since 1994. She has taught hundreds of classes in Washington D.C., San Diego, Los Angeles, Miami and at a local community college in Charlottesville, VA where she now resides with her family and offers classes from her home and at City Clay.

Arouca has recently been learning to make her own ceramic vases enabling her students to practice on these unique art pieces.

She is very passionate about sharing this ancient art with others and loves being able to introduce people to a new a way to create harmony, beauty and awareness.
